The Hoekk project revitalized a dormant furniture design concept originally showcased at Dutch Design Week years earlier. I developed a contemporary brand identity to reintroduce this innovative modular furniture system to today's market.
I created "Hoekk" as a distinctively Dutch-sounding name referencing the corner ("hoek") elements central to the design. The minimalist logotype features a square element in the upper right, echoing the furniture's modular nature and establishing a recognizable mark across applications.
To communicate the furniture's configurable nature, I employed 3D modeling to develop the entire collection digitally, creating rendered visualizations demonstrating system flexibility beyond existing physical prototypes. This approach enabled consistent presentation across all brand materials.
The visual identity uses a sophisticated black, white, and wood-tone palette emphasizing clean lines while allowing the product design to remain focal. Supporting typography balances functionality with subtle character, reflecting the furniture's blend of practicality and design sensibility.
I developed comprehensive applications including a grid-based product catalog, promotional materials highlighting modular benefits, and web design featuring interactive 3D models. This project demonstrates my ability to revitalize concepts through strategic brand development while using technical skills to solve specific communication challenges.
